Hello everyone, we will be meeting on Monday, September 28, at 6:00 at the club. The book we are reading for discussion is “Go Gentle” by Maria Semple. It is described as: “A zany, madcap social satire. Released in April 2026 as an Oprah’s Book Club pick, it follows Adora Hazzard-a Stoic philosopher and TV writer turned tutor on the Upper West Side-whose orderly life spirals into an international art caper and a reckoning with her past trauma.” Also described as “a fun wild mess that blends a chaotic plot with trademark witty one-liners and deep midlife introspection.”
