Our next book club will meet on Monday December 8 at 6:00 pm. The location will be Palmers Pizza in Noank. While many different titles were discussed as our December book, we decided to keep it on the lighter more uplifting side for the holidays.
The book we will be reading has a very similar title to last month’s book (someone read it by accident :)) and it came highly recommend by several people. It is called “Book Club for Troublesome Women” by New York Times bestselling author, Marie Bostwick.
It takes place in the sixties when a group of housewives form a book club. “The Book Club for Troublesome Women” is a humorous, thought provoking, and nostalgic romp through one pivotal and tumultuous American year.
